The Human Rights Association is an independent, non-profit human rights and humanitarian organization, officially founded in the city of Zurich on 29 May 2020 and headquartered in the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland. It has its own legal personality and an independent financial structure, and may establish branches in other countries by decision of its administrative body.
We aspire to a world of justice and peace, where human dignity is respected and human rights are protected; a world that upholds the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary, and rejects the culture of violence, terrorism and war in favour of reviving a culture of dialogue and peaceful understanding.
To work earnestly and continuously to defend human rights and legitimacy in accordance with constitutions, international conventions, and humanitarian and national laws; to protect freedom of expression and the independence of the judiciary; to stand with victims of violations, wars and disasters and convey their voices to the competent authorities; to empower the most vulnerable groups; and to pursue accountability and justice.
H.R.A may establish branches in other countries by decision of its administrative body. Officially approved branches will be announced here.
